Sundays Noon

communion

The noon service of Holy Communion at St. Luke’s is a said service suitable for all who desire a quiet, meditative experience of communing with the Lord Jesus Christ in corporate worship. The experience of this kind of service is similar to that of the daily early morning service of Holy Communion offered at some cathedrals, since the worshiper is surrounded by peace and quiet and the spoken words of the Eucharistic liturgy, which are vehicles for prayer and meditation carrying him to a deeper sense of the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.

On the fourth Sunday of the month, Holy Unction, or the Sacrament of Anointing with Holy Oil for Healing, will be administered at the altar rail after the administration of Holy Communion.

All are welcome to attend this beautiful and reverential service.
